The Roten Family

Tim Roten
President
Tim grew up in Lubbock and has been around construction his entire life. His father ran a door mill, managed a lumber company, and did commercial and residential remodeling. Tim started working with his dad at a young and was exposed to all facets of the construction business. He got a job as a framer’s helper when he was 19 years old and was contracting framing at the age of 20. In 1984 Tim started with Tim Roten Homes and the business has been running since. You may see him with his dog Piper at our job sites!

Brad Roten
Vice President
Brad is Tim’s youngest son and has been around the building industry since he was born. During summer breaks he would help with the construction process from framing to finish work. Brad attended Texas Tech University and graduated in 2006 with his M.B.A. In 2013 he joined his father and became a partner at Roten Homes. He spends his free time with his wife Kelly, and their boys Riley and Maddox – usually at a ball field!

Julie Ramos
Sales Director
Julie was brought on board the Roten Homes team as a sales consultant in 2012 after her marriage to Freddie. She started out in the DFW area and has been in new home sales since early 2000. With over 2 decades of experience, she is knowledgeable in the home building industry and is a huge help to our potential buyers. When she’s not helping our buyers, she spends her free time with her grandbabies. From cheering baseball games, to hosting sleep overs, she’s one busy woman!

Zach Herron
Superintendent
Zach was brought on board the Roten Homes team in 2018 finishing houses. He listened, learned, and worked hard to make his way up in the company. Zach graduated from Texas Tech with a B.S. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry in 2018. He and his wife Savannah spend their free time with their dogs while remodeling their home. You may find them on a local golf course from time to time.

Katie Hamm
Assistant to Vice President
Katie moved to Lubbock from Fort Worth in 2021 to work for Roten Homes. You may not see her as she works behind the scenes to make sure your home is built. If you ever have questions, she has the answer or knows where to get it. In her free time you can catch her at a ball field with her boys, or rushing out to practice.
